First of all, the service is worth the visit. That said, it is the food that will make you go back. Not for just the portions(which are plenty ample but not overwhelming) but the taste of freshness is very detectable with every bite. And the setting, under a canopy of very mature trees on a brick patio, does not seem that you are only about 20 feet off McGregor Blvd.

Awesome outside seating. Friendly, fast service and good value! I had a cheese omelet and cheese grits. Wow! Get the grits for sure!!!!

It was my boyfriend and I's first time here. We wanted to try a new breakfast place that was dog friendly since we had my dog with us. The server was so sweet and even brought out a water bowl for my pup. I got the eggs benedict with a side of breakfast potatoes and it was delicious. I loved the atmosphere because they had a nice patio area with lots of seating. There was shade and even fans for when it's a hot day. We'll definitely be back and can't wait to try more dishes.

Very relaxed environment.. nice people.. good food! A real pleasure to dine at McGregor Cafe. It has a nice downhome comfortable feel. Everyone in our party (6) really enjoyed their food. Tastes were great and portions generous. Highly recommend! Enjoy!!

Very cute outdoor dining area. Went for a late breakfast and had a great experience. Staff is very friendly and food was amazing. This was my first visit after moving to the area and this may be my go to breakfast spot. They apparently have a great lunch menu. I didn't have the quiche but saw it walking by and need to try.

It's always a great experience and delicious food here at McGregor Café! I met my sister for lunch, she had the half sandwich and salad option. She said the grilled cheese was absolutely delicious. I had The Wild Thing: Thinly sliced house roast beef, herbed garlic cream cheese spread, lettuce, and red onion served on a buttery croissant with their homemade potato chips. Everything was great. Our server, Kelly was amazing!

One of places we found when we moved here that actually had good food and cool little indoor/outdoor space and good service. Their quiche is one of the best. We normally have breakfast there but yesterday we had lunch. Show up a little before normal times and you can get in. Parking isn't always fun but if you're a little earlier than the norm it's doable. My mom's favorite place when she visits.

What a great cozy place to have breakfast. The service was wonderful and the food came out timely. The biscuits and gravy were delicious and the home fries were decided by everyone to be some of the best. The outside seating looks charming under all the trees, perfect for our nice weather days.

What a cute little place! The second I was seated I was greeted by Holly who was so freaking amazing. She really took care of us and was very pleasant to interact with. I'm a breakfast girl so when I saw biscuits and gravy I knew that was my dish! It was very good, we even started with a plate of fruit which was so fresh and delicious. They offer bloody Mary's and a couple other boozy options. Check them out, ask for Holly!

We chose to have breakfast here after seeing "Hash n Eggs" on their online menu for which the description included "crispy housemade corned beef hash". My husband only enjoys hash when it's good and crispy, so he was intrigued and that's what drove us here. The hash definitely had good flavor, but unfortunately, it was mushy and did not have any crispy texture to it. So that was disappointing. I ordered the build your own 3-egg omelet with cheesy grits as my side. I really enjoyed how creamy the grits were; they were pudding-like and very tasty. I loved how they serve sodas in large, glass mugs. When diet soda is your 'coffee', you really appreciate that! It's a cute little place that also offers patio seating. Service was attentive and friendly. We enjoyed listening to the little voices of the families that dined around us. :)
